Beware whatever your age, aging is fast creeping up on you, it creeps up and catches you unaware, even if you are in your twenties be forewarned start protecting your skin today.
Taking your skin for granted today will mean that tomorrow you might well be wanting to play catch-up for all of a sudden looking in the mirror you’ll see lines beginning to form on your forehead or around your eyes, dark circles under your eyes and Bags under your eyes starting to appear. The start of your neck beginning to sag, lines all of a sudden at the corners of your mouth, and you’ll see the first signs of wrinkles.
Bags under your eyes could well be reflecting your lifestyle. What about those bags under your eyes? Well perhaps you are staying up too late partying and burning the candle at both ends.
Those lines and wrinkles that seemed to have suddenly appeared overnight were once temporary lines and wrinkles in your younger years seen only during facial movements especially around your eyes, lines and wrinkles that disappeared when you stopped screwing up your face or laughing. Now however, as you start to age, into your thirties for instance, they no longer disappear when the facial muscles become relaxed, all of a sudden they are becoming a permanent feature and the earlier this happens the greater the tendency for deepening more pronounced wrinkles over years to come.
Today promise yourself that you’re going to stop those premature aging habits such as smoking, drinking heavily and sunbathing. Wear sunglasses in bright sunlight to stop squinting, wear a sun block, improve your lifestyle and your diet and think about how much happier you’ll be when you look in the mirror in years yet to come.
Your skin, your overall appearance in fact will soon start to show the consequences if you lie in the sun too long, get too little sleep, drink too much alcohol or smoke heavily. Yes, its great be young and great to be having a good time and why not but there is a downside if you want to stay looking good for longer.
Avoiding over exposure to the sun and a sensible skin care regime will always keep your skin in good condition no matter how quickly the years go by.
Slow down the skin’s aging process by attacking those free radicals that damage the skin’s cell structure by assuring that you get plenty of antioxidants contained in healthy foods such as fresh green vegetables and fruits. Maintaining a proper healthy diet is more beneficial than taking supplements. Eating those takeaways and ready made meals yes is sometimes convenient but they contain salt and preservatives, both are enemies of the skin.
Drink plenty of water so as to ensure that your skin is properly hydrated, around six to eight glasses a day, that sounds a lot doesn’t it but provided you get your daily quota sipping it or drinking slowly will be just as good as gulping down full glasses at one go.
Remember it’s never too late to start a skin care regime, so stop taking your skin for granted, start today and tomorrow? Well look in the mirror and be glad that you did!
