Loreal Cosmetics is headquartered in Paris, France in the year 1907 and was started out by a chemist named Eugene Schueller when he created a new hair dye. He called his hair dye, aureole which he manufactured, formulated, and then sold to Parisian hairdresssers. After two years, in 1909, Eugene Schueller registered his company and was then named, Societe Francais de Teintures Innofensives pour Cheveux or in translation, Safe Hair Dye Company of France. The companys vision is research and innovation in the interest of beauty and this is the past, present, and future of Loreal Cosmetics.
Since then, the company has innovated and invented other cleansing and beauty products and has been marketing over five hundred brands and thousands of individual products in all departments of the beauty industry.

Because of its different divisions, the Loreal Group is behind the innovation and development of products that we think are its rivals.
